Michael's martial arts journey began with Tae Kwon Do and expanded into Boxing, Kickboxing, Wrestling, Capoeira, Karate, Wing Chun, Japanese Jujutsu, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. He holds a black belt in Tekio Surudo, a black belt in Japanese Jujutsu, a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and has over 20 years of coaching experience in Wrestling. Michael blends these diverse styles to develop Tekio Surudo, a modern self-defense system.

As of 2022, he trains under world-renowned Professor Roy Dean and is the first Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor and affiliate in Arizona representing the Roy Dean Academy.

Sabrina is a military veteran, creative professional, and entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in administration and business development. She manages the daily operations of the academy, ensuring that students' needs are met for an optimal training experience.

Red is a dedicated athlete with a strong foundation in wrestling, competing at the state level during his senior year of high school. In 2008, he expanded his martial arts journey into Muay Thai, earning an Advanced Thai Boxer ranking under his instructor in Arizona.

Red continues to enhance his fitness through weight training, martial arts, softball, and Spartan race training. He is a firm believer in the power of physical fitness to shape both mind and body. Along with his training in Tekio Surudo,  Red supports the Kids Tekio Surudo program and coaches Kickboxing.

Jacob is a dedicated member of the United States Air Force, proudly serving his country for over 15 years. His career has been shaped by unwavering discipline, resilience, and a deep sense of duty.

Beyond his military service, Jacob has always been passionate about athletics. From an early age, he participated in multiple sports, developing a competitive edge and a deep appreciation for teamwork and physical challenge.

In March 2024, Jacob began training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, quickly finding a new outlet for both his mental focus and physical drive. He is currently a student of Tekio Surudo, where his athletic background and consistent dedication have fueled his rapid growth in the martial art.

In addition to his own training, Jacob actively supports the Kids Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu program, sharing his knowledge, encouraging young students, and embodying the values of mentorship and perseverance. Whether in uniform or on the mat, Jacob continues to push his limits—always striving for growth, service, and excellence.
